Every year for National Poetry month I organize a NAFO Gift-A-Poem Poetry Drive. In year three we will support the 34th Coastal Defense Brigade. The Marines of Kherson need new wheels.

You make a donation to Petra, PayPal: parhomik.irina1985@gmail.com and we will create a poem for you.

How Does it Work?

First you get proof of donation to me. Then we take your ideas for a poem and combine it with the magic word of the day.

You get to give the gift of a poetry. Choose someone and an idea, and get what you get. And of course it’s fine to treat yo self.

Past Examples

This project is based on the work in Typewriter Rodeo. A poetry collective from Austin, Texas that travels with typewriters and create poems on the spot.

A few years ago the CLMOOC Crew did the Poetry Port. CLMOOC is a group of teachers loosely connected to the National Writing Project and DS106.
